Now hash summer session is over in India and our rainy session start. We have started our EIP training in various cities in India.
Recently we have arranged "Peace & Human Rights Through Education" in Pujayashree Madhavanji College of Education, Bhagwatipuram, Hyderabad, September 29, 2016.
On 22nd October, we are also arranging training in Nagpur in prestigious education Institute of Minister of Maharashtra .province..
In 2nd week of November 2016, we are arranging training in Guwahati University, Assam (North East India).

No More Hiroshima: No More Nagasaki: Peace Museum and Raman Science Centre arranged No More Hiroshima: No More Nagasaki: Peace Exhibition from 6 to 19 August at Raman Science Centre and Planetarium, Ministry of Culture , Government of India.
Peace Exhibition inaugurated on 6th August by Project Director of Raman Science Centre and Planetariums Mr. Ramadas Ayyar.
Peace exhibition was open to public from 6 to 9 August but due to heavy rush and demand from public the dates are extended upto 19 August 2018.
Dr. Balkrishna Kurvey, Honorary Executive Director of No More Hiroshima: No More Nagasaki: Peace Museum and President of IIPDEP address the delegates on 2 Billion People will at Risk. He explained the catastrophic effects of a nuclear war with the help of Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombing photos. Limited nuclear war between India and Pakistan 1 billion will die due to starvation and another 1 billion will also be affected.
2 billion people will be affected but also change our climate lead to crop failure. Malnutrition, fuel crises and spread of infectious diseases in global South and in world. If America and Russia will engage in a nuclear war then about 100 million people will die instantly and only 20% people will remain on earth Even they will have very less chances of survival due to nuclear radiation. .
He also appealed for teaching values of non-violence to students as well as to people. With the help of Peace Museum around the world we can build public opinion towards nuclear weapons free world. :Animation film,On Peace Crane: depicting the life of atomic bomb victim girl Sadako was screened for students and public. He informed the work of EIP on Human rights and disarmament.
Dr Nalini Kurvey member of International Physicians for Prevention of Nuclear War and President of EIP, India said how Openheimer develop the nuclear bombs and its testing in New Mexico desert and how bombs were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. This subsequently led to a nuclear arms race. There are no medical remedies for nuclear bombs victims and prevention in only cure to save the human race, environment and planet earth from the horrible catastrophic effects.She narrated the work of IPPNW and EIP world wide for Human rights training and nuclear weapon free world.
EIP-India under "Catch Them Young" slogan arranged EIP-Traning to high school students in following 10 schools, in Pune, India. This event was arranged within the span of 15 days from 1st to 15 September 2017. We target one school in one day.
As a member of EIP-India Mr Fadatare attended EIP traning in Geneva. He was our local member based in Pune, tooke great efforts for this grand successful training of EIP-India.
After the training we have taken the Rallies of students in prominent areas in Pune as public education and awarness of the people.

Dr. Balkrishna Kurvey of EIP-India greeted the participants on the International Human Rights Day and informed the meaning of EIP and its work propagating Human Rights and Peace education in the world. He narrated the objectives of the training and need in India. India is a largest democracy and for the betterment and successful and meaningful democracy the principles of Human Rights must be observed for the peace and development. He urged the participants who are political leaders, policy makers, educationists and responsible for the implementation in their respective departments. He stressed that Human rights and peace education through schools and various organizations and NGOs will surely benefit individual, society, state and ultimately to world. SHORT REPORT OF THE HUMAN RIGHTS & PEACE EDUCATION IN SCHOOL On the eve of Human Rights Day, training session for Senior High School students was arranged in Major Hemant Jakate Vidyalaya (school), Nagpur on December 8, 2012. The theme of the training was “Human Rights & Peace Education”. 67 senior high school students and their teachers actively participated in one day training.
Principal Mr. Madhusudan Mude of Major Jakate School welcomes the guests and informed the students importance of human rights and peace in life of individual and society.
Dr. Nalini Kurvey informed the work of EIP and how it was established by Jacques Muhlethaler She stress that Human Rights education taught in school will help the students who are going to be a citizen and will take active part in society and national life.
Dr. Balkrishna Kurvey introduced the articles of Human Rights in simplified manner with photos. He stressed that the youths are backbone of the country and human rights and peace education should be started from the student life of the youth. Well informed Human Rights students will certainly benefit the society. They will observe their human rights as well as respect the human rights of others. India is largest democracy in the world and for the safeguard of the democracy, observation of human rights is essential. Human Rights propagate and build peace, and development.
Students and teachers ask many questions and it was replied by Dr. Balkrishna Kurvey and Dr. Nalini Kurvey. Students were give some questionnaire and workshops also arranged.

Age groups of girls students are 19 to 25 years and after two year diploma course in education they will join the schools as teachers.
The theme of the training was “Peace & Human Rights through Education” 64 students and 7 lecturers actively participated in the EIP training.
Dr. Nalini Kurvey: On behalf of EIP India, EIP International and IIPDEP welcome teachers and lecturers. She said that EIP India started working since 1995 under the guidance of eip International. EIP-India conducted many national/provincial workshops/seminars/training for teachers, NGO, Government officials in many cities in India. Trained participants from such training sessions are organizing seminars and short training sessions in their respective areas of working.
She explained the meaning of EIP, which is a French word meaning World Association for School as an Instrument of Peace. It is international non-governmental organization

EIP-India as a part of EIP-International Geneva arranged one day Seminar for Junior college (Senior High School) students and teachers on Monday 7 October 2013 in Babananak Sindhi Hindi High School & Junior College, Nagpur. The theme of the Seminar was “Human Rights Pre-requisite for Peace, Democracy & Development. 84 students and 9 teachers actively participated in the seminar.
Human Rights training was arranged for the Senior High School girls students of M.P. Ideal School, Hyderabad, South India on 10 December 2014 on International Human Rights Day.
More than 90% students were from Muslim community studying in Senior High School level. Muslim girls/women are totally unaware of the Human rights . They are also lacking behind in education in India.
It is said that if you train one girl/women, you train family and future generation.
76 Senior High School girls students participated in one day training of EIP-India. They were informed the Universal Declarations of Human Rights, Need of Human Rights for peace, democracy and sustainable development as well as the Rights of Women.
After inauguration, students were provided the questionnaire. They were divided in small groups and given different task regarding Human Rights propagation in society and especially among women.
Mr. Ravi Kumar (He attended CIFEDHOP/ EIP training in Geneva), President Nav Bharat Nirman Sangh (New India Development Association) is a member of EIP-India, took active part in arranging EIP training in Hyderabad, South India.

DR. MS BHAVE, ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OF HISTORY in her introductory address informed the students the importance of Human Rights in day to day life and especially for girls and women. Our college is catering the need of women to come to main stream of society. Girls and women are backbone and pillar of society and nation. They are not aware of the human rights granted them by government or already existed in society. She thanks the EIP India for arranging sch important training in our college. She also thanks EIP-Geneva, Switzerland for taking Human Rights in developing county like India.
DR. BALKRISHNA KURVEY OF EIP-INDIA . introduce the topic of Human Rights and its important. Near about 52% population of India consist of female. Women are most neglected part of society and sometime they are treated as second class citizen. They are most disadvantage .lot in main stream of society It is due to their backwardness in education. But at present, girls are taking active part in education in every faculties and shown their hard work and brilliance. Girls and women are .exploited in every field. This happened as they are not aware of the human Rights granted them by constitution. To know our self human rights is way towards progress. EIP India with guidance from EIP-International. Geneva spreading the Human Rights its importance in the world.
India is progressing very fast but without observance of Human Rights development is not possible. Human rights is pre-requisite for peace, development and democracy.. Dr. Kurvey urge the girls students to know their human rights . He said, EIP-India will be arranging series of EIP training . in their college to train as many students as possible.
DR. DIXIT PRINCIPAL OF COLLEGE OF WOMEN FOR ARTS AND COMMERCE, said that India is largest democracy in the world and progressing very fast but Human Rights are violated in day to day life and mostly of girls and women by government or private entities. This happened as they are not aware of their Human Rights and government mechanism to help them for safeguarding their Human Rights. Dr. Dixit thanks Dr. Kurvey of EIP-India ofr for arranging such importance training for their girls students. He urge him to arrange maximum training sessions to educate maximum girls. He thanks EIP-International Geneva for taking such noble cause to spread the message and knowledge of Human Rights in all over the world and especially in developing country like India.
Recently we have arranged EIP Training Session on October 20, 2016 for selected senior student of LL.M. (Master of Law) and B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) of Central India College of Law and Central India College of Education, This college is run by Mr. Anis Ahmed, Ex Minister of Education, Government of Maharashtra (who had inaugurated our 4th National Training Session on EIP)
Dr. Yasmin Siddique, Mr. Babar, Board member of Central India Education Institute, Dr. Sona Kumar, Principal, Central India College of Law, Dr. Swati Raut, Principal. Central Central India College of Education were prominent guest for the EIP Training.
This Institute is run my minatory community and students are mostly from Muslin community. Unfortunately, muslin students especially girls are lagging behind in education and need to be educated to bring them in main stream of the society. I was very much happy to arrange such training for Muslim students who take active part and asked many questions.
My presentation was based on principls of EIP and Articles of Human Rights . I request the students who are pursing their studies in Bachelor of Education to teach their students the important of Human Rights for self, society, country and world. I persuad the students of Master of law to study the Human Rights and apply in their profession, they can safe guard the human rights through their law profession.

April 2013 to August 2014
1) 20 April 2013. Mominpura, Nagpur. 71 Anganwadi workers trained.
2) 22 April, 2013. "Training of Trainers (TOT). 16 Senior level Education Officers from local, provincial and national level trained.
3) 13 May 2013 , Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan. 67 Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) Students trained.
4) 6 August 2013, Hyderabad, South India. Politicians, policy makers, educationists, NGOs, women/youths groups leaders actively participated . Total trained 87.
5) 7 October 2013 Babanak Sindhi Hindi High School & Junior College, Nagpur . 9 teachers and 84 students trained.
6) 10 December 2013 Bhubaneswar, On the eve of International Human Rights Day, EIP-India arranged provincial training on "Human Rights & Peace Education . with Government of Odisha, 63 persons trained.
7) March 15, 2014, Yashodabai Khare College of Education, Nagpur . 64 students and 7 lecturers actively participated in the training. The age groups of girls student was 18 to 25 years.
8) 9 August 2014 Sardar Patel Mahavidyalaya (College) , Chandrapur. 11 teachers and 203 students trained.
