« Un documentaire devant lequel on ne peut rester indifférent et qui provoquera le débat. Et c’est sans doute son but et sa plus grande qualité : encourager professeurs, parents et élèves à prendre position, à témoigner, à se mobiliser pour chercher des solutions. » 

Long d’une heure quarante minutes, ce documentaire sans complaisance « fait le pari audacieux de désigner tous les problèmes que rencontre le système scolaire, de l’école primaire à l’université. »
