Le nouveau site Internet World Inequality Database on Education (WIDE) trace un portrait des inégalités d'accès à l'éducation à l'échelle mondiale. Les indicateurs disponibles permettent d'établir des comparaisons entre pays, mais aussi de montrer les disparités selon le sexe, le niveau de santé et le situation géographique pour un pays donné. Ce tableau d'ensemble permet de prendre la mesure de ce qu'il reste à accomplir pour assurer l'éducation pour tous au-delà des discours de circonstance.
